You’re Not “Weak” for Struggling. :thought_balloon::broken_heart:
Work culture often rewards the “strongest” — those who grind silently and stay “productive.”

But the truth is, acknowledging you are struggling is a sign of strength.

Both interns and employees feel overwhelmed at some point — and they still succeed by asking for help and pushing through with support.

Mental Health Tip:
Normalize saying:
• “I need help.”
• “I need a break.”
• “I’m doing my best.”
• “Kailangan ko munang magpahinga.”
• “Okay lang mapagod.”

In my case,
Lately, sobrang nararamdaman ko ‘yung bigat ng responsibilities — thesis na kailangang matapos, sunod-sunod na school requirements, part-time and volunteer work na gusto kong galingan, plus ‘yung small business na I’m currently working on. On top of that, gusto ko pa ring magkaroon ng time for friends, family, and myself.

Working on so many things at once drained me — to the point na naapektuhan na pati health ko. At this age, I feel like I’m supposed to have everything figured out — my purpose, my career, and my path in life. I see others reaching milestones, and it makes me wonder, “When will I get there?”

Pero naisip ko rin, bakit ba ako nagmamadali?
I’m still young. I’m still learning. I don’t have to have it all figured out right now.
Life isn’t a race. Everyone has their own timing, their own journey. :hourglass_flowing_sand::sparkles:
Sabi nga, step by step lang para sumakses.

Rest if you must, ask for help if needed, pero don’t give up. :seedling:

Here are some things that helped me cope:
(These are things I’ve found work for me, and maybe they’ll help you too.)

:pushpin: Set short daily goals.
Hindi kailangang matapos lahat in one go. One task at a time. At the end of the day, progress is still progress — kahit maliit. :memo:
I personally follow the “Eat the Frog” method — I start with the hardest task first thing in the morning. After that, everything else feels easier. Also, breaking things into smaller tasks, like using the Pomodoro technique, has helped me stay focused and less overwhelmed. :four_leaf_clover:

:pushpin: Take breaks without guilt.
I used to feel bad kapag nagpapahinga ako, but napansin ko, mas productive ako kapag hindi ako drained. We’re not robots. Breaks are part of the process, not a sign of laziness. :relieved::coffee:
What works for me is taking breaks from social media or work. I take some time to just relax, whether it’s a walk or enjoying a hobby I love, and it really clears my head. :herb:

:pushpin: Remind yourself: you’re doing your best with what you have.
May mga araw na ‘di ako okay, and that’s fine. I stopped pressuring myself to be 100% all the time. Showing up kahit papano is already something to be proud of. :star2:
I also remind myself that my worth isn’t tied to how much I accomplish each day. Having “me-time” to reflect, listen to music, or even just be alone helps me reset. :sparkling_heart:

How about you?
When was the last time you gave yourself permission to pause?

Let this be your sign to breathe, rest, and keep going — at your own pace.
