Sa akin parang it really redefined what a career should look like. Before kasi highly focused on choosing a certain path and building a career on that, pero ngayon I think it allows people to view career as a flexible part of life. I remember I used to think very traditionally na dapat isa lang ang profession pero right now I am leaning more on having a career/s that would allow me to wear multiple hats since that aligns more on with who I am.
The rise of technology made me realize that while also allowing me the space to pursue it actively so definitely nagbago talaga ang view ko regarding ‘career success’ and I’d say it’s in a good way naman haha.
As a student in chemistry, grabe, nakaka-amaze and nakaka-overwhelm din minsan how fast technology is evolving! Dati, lab work meant hours of manual titration tapos ngayon, may AI models na that can predict reaction outcomes or optimize experiments before you even pick up a pipette.
Honestly, the rise of tech shifted my view of success: it’s no longer just about mastering one technique or memorizing formulas, it’s about being adaptable and open-minded. I realized that true success for me now means embracing lifelong learning, collaborating with AI instead of fearing it, and finding ways to innovate even in traditional fields like Chemistry.
Who knows? Maybe someday, I’ll co-invent a smart chemical sensor or an AI that helps fight climate change. char!

Technology has truly revolutionized everyone’s idea of career success. I discussed this in my thesis, where I shared how technological advancements paved the way for modern marketing methods, accelerated the growth of the e-commerce landscape, and continue to influence buyer behavior today.
As a communication student, I also see how technology has reshaped how we connect and express ourselves. For me, career success now means having the creative freedom to express my work while efficiently using technological advancements like AI as support, but never letting it fully take over my craft.
Finding that balance between creativity and technology is what career success looks like for me today.
