KadaAsk: Describe your ideal ‘mental health-friendly’ workday. What would it look and feel like?

Kung may dream workday ka na hindi ka nauubos emotionally — ano itsura nun?
Maybe it’s:
:cloud: No meetings before 10AM (because… we are not built to speak at 8AM!)
:cloud: Managers who ask “How are you, really?” not just “Done na ba ‘to?”
:cloud: A culture where taking a mental health break isn’t seen as “slacking”
Work doesn’t have to feel like survival mode. :x:
So let’s imagine what good can look like. :seedling:
What’s your version of a mentally healthy Monday? :heart_hands:
Libre mangarap — and maybe, isa na ‘yan sa first steps to change. :signal_strength:

No workplace is perfect but I think it is really nice to have a healthy and supportive environment, one that respects your personal space and life. The ideal ‘mental-health friendly’ workplace for me is one that respect ‘no work days’ (weekends, leave days, holidays) meaning walang calls and compliances:)

Kayo what’s your ideal workplace and can you share one thing na deal breaker sa inyo when it comes sa work?

Love the insights, @hjg1022 . In short, a company that values boundaries important.

Ako, I’d say na people-first company, kasi I believe na kapag ganun ang company, the leaders there will be advocates of it. and people/team members would know how to value theirs as well - time, boundaries, their craft. Siguro isama ko na rin na kung onsite, may mga scheduled healthy meals for employees, tapos kung WFH naman pinapadalan ng healthy food. hehe! Wishful thinking lang din

Kayo? @Andy @Danela_Guiuo_0410 @daveanthony_dj and other kadas - @lovely_02 @Lyka @louisaltoveros

a mental health friendly work day would ideally be a workday that has been planned but the schedule is not tight or rush. A day where you can still enjoy a sip of coffee or matcha on the side while doing your work. No emails or chat for the day, just you asynchronously working on your desk.
